Chapter 3 - ArrayFormula & Lookup Formula

Learn how to efficiently find data and process entire ranges in Google Sheets via formulas. This session will cover foundational data retrieval and array processing techniques for automation, essential for building dynamic dashboards and scalable reports with automation.

We will cover the following topics in the sharing session:

1. Different Types of Lookup Operations in Google Sheets (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP)
2. Working with ARRAYFORMULA to expand calculations instantly, achieving automation.
3. Dealing with Dynamic Data (Combining LOOKUPs with ARRAYFORMULA)

After the session, you should be able to handle complex data retrieval tasks such as matching records across sheets, creating dynamic lists, and processing entire columns with a single formula. In addtion to that, you should be able to build reports that update automatically as new data is added. Some examples of it are finding a product price from an inventory list, matching student IDs to grades, or automatically calculating totals for an entire column.
